Dishcloth Dress

Thanks to my good friend Jodee for telling me about this pattern. It knits up quick and looks pretty good too! Not sure if I will ever use it, it's not really a practical shape...

I went to Spotlight today and bought a couple of balls of bamboo/cotton blend (80/20) ($3.99 NZ each) and one of cotton ($5.99 NZ). They are all variegated blends. The above cloth was knitted with one of the bamboo/cotton yarns. I must say knitting with this stuff is much nicer than knitting with acrylic or wool - it's softer. I was going to buy some cotton of the peaches-creme website, but after figuring out the cost's (around $4 NZ a ball - including p&p) I decided that it was cheaper or only slightly more to buy it here. There are more colours available on the web and so I may order some in the future, but for now I will stick with Spotlight.
