The Curious Incident Of Mrs Sew Funky and the Slippery Floor

It was a wet and windy Monday afternoon when Mrs Sew Funky dropped by to pick up her girls from craft club - rushing into the church hall because the weather was so horrid, she lost her footing on the lino, launching herself into the air, not quite like a graceful ballerina, and choosing to save her self from a horrible thud my slowing her decent with her right hand, fracturing her wrist.

A group of young prepubescent boys - who play war games rather than do craft - rushed to the lovely Mrs Sew Funky's aid swooning over her until being sent away by Mrs Sew Funky's friend Karen who took charge and took the faint and sickly Mrs Sew Funky to the Accident and Emergency Center.

Of course all of the previous story is Mr Sew Funky's interpretation, because Mr Sew Funky was at work at the time.

Mr Sew Funky did arrive on the scene a little later however, like a knight on a white horse, coming to rescue his one armed princess. Arranging for the kids to be looked after - well, dropping by our closest (distance wise) friends who graciously not only took in our children for an undisclosed time frame, but also shared the family roast dinner with them - it was on the the Hospital where we were shuffled around for hours, finally managing to escape shortly before 10PM with Mrs Sew Funky's arm in a cast.

Sadly it will be up to Mr Sew Funky to keep this blog updated for a while, so may I suggest you occupy your selves by reading my stunning array of movie and dvd reviews at Film Guide, or, depending on your political leanings watch this full length documentary on YouTube, about the American occupation of Iraq. Alternatively you can keep up to date with my 'craft' endeavors over at my wargaming blog - though that will probably be less updated than this blog.

I'm so sorry to hear of your injury. Hopefully you will have a speedy recovery. I will be your swap partner for the magazine swap. I'm looking forward to reading your blog and getting to know you. When you are able, drop me an email and tell me about yourself - where do you live, what are your hobbies, what kind of magazines would you like, etc. Have a nice week!

Oh no ... poor Mrs Sew Funky. That sounds very painful and horribly inconvenient. Best wishes for as speedy a recovery as possible.
