Almost forgot to post about this...
and so with 2 more hours left of Friday, I'll get this in as quick as I can!
One of my most favourite things at the moment is fresh eggs from my three gorgeous chooks!
No, they don't lay that many eggs, only one each a day! But I will say one thing, their eggs are delicious and worth the time spent caring for the chooks...
NOTE; It seems that the word chook is a kiwi one - it just means chicken... ;)
That’s a Wrap!

Wow - ours aren't laying much at the moment. What breeds do you have? Aren't fresh eggs so yummy!
Chooks are fun. They're just a bit too hard to keep in my backyard...
Fresh eggs: When I was a kid I grew up in California in the big city. My step dad was born and raised on a farm in Mississippi. We went to vist Grandparents in the summer and it was awsome to have fresh eggs, fresh fish, honey from a bee hive, I could go on and on good memories!!! Thanks for sparking that! Marion
Sorry had to delete earlier comment. Meant to say that I absolutely agree that fresh eggs are definitely a favourite thing. Also love getting to know the hens and their varying personalities!
I agree with you Norma, My chooks each have their own particular personalities... One is definately the boss!
Since I have tried your chook eggs I have to agree with you that fresh chook eggs are the best. I would have posted your eggs as one of my favourite things but we ate them ;)
I totally agree, there is nothing better than your own fresh eggs, especially when they are still warm when you collect them.
I only have 3 hens, but they are such characters.
Pretty eggs! I don't know what "chooks" are, though! Smiles, Jann

Hi there! Thanks for popping by my blog!
I would love to have some chooks, but am not sure if we're allowed to and also don't think we have the room. I try to make up for it by only buying free range eggs - they def. taste better, and have a great colour!
thank you for your sweet comment on my blog giveaway. I couldn't leave a comment on your giveaway because I had already entered it.
good luck in the drawing.
