Today, we all went into the city to watch the new studio ghibli film, ponyo. What an awesome little japanese film. :)
Then to add to the Japanesey theme, we went to a little Japanese shop and I bought this sweet little soy sauce pot, a clear plastic umbrella (for my 12 year old daughter!) and a neat little elephant notebook. I could've spent a whole lot more, but the budget was tight.
All in all, a great way to spend a day in the middle of the school holidays. Especially, when you need a distraction from all the packing going on!

what God has in store for your life.
And that’s a wrap! Twenty years of children ...

We were there too! Madly whispering a translation of what was going on to Hazel which wasn't ideal but I hadn't thought to look to see if it was subtitled or not - live and learn. I wish I could have concentrated on it a bit more, but it was delightful anyways! Love that Japanese shop too, there's always something neat in it.
What a cute little soy sauce pot!! Sounds like a neat day.
