Sew Retro Re-Born!

The talented Mr Sew Funky decided to re-design the Sew Retro blog to bring it in line with the Sew Funky look, and whilst he was sew motivated he decided to schedule in a few posts, so keep an eye on Sew Retro for your (almost) daily retro goodness...

More bloggy news...

In an effort to make my blog better and easier to use, I have loaded all the knitted cloth patterns on to a filesharing website.

I know how hard it can be to print out patterns from blogs, you get all the sidebar information and the headers too, and it can be a total waste of ink! So, my gift to you, is links at the bottom of all my cloth pattern posts. I have made them all into pdf's for easy access. :)

overdone...

I'm just feeling a little overdone at the moment, what with all the giveaway's I've been entering and holding on the blog, my new etsy store, the kids starting back at school etc. So I've decided in an effort to "just say when", I'm going to make myself have an enforced timeout this weekend.

Today is Waitangi Day here in NZ, so it's a long weekend and I really feel the need to reconnect to my family and to the sun... ;)

Mr Sew-Funky is talking about a re-do on the design of this blog, and so keep an eye out for that over the weekend. But as for me, I shall be silent... or at least I will try to be.

UPDATE: Menu items on orange bar finished, fixed search function, slowly adding content to side bar.

You may have noticed that I've added a new translation widget to my sidebar.

This blog has readers from all over the world and one of my Brazilian readers has contacted me through Miss Floss to say that she finds it hard to understand my posts... Celia this is for you! :) And of course it's also for all of my non-english readers out there... I do love you all!!!

doing better...

At least I think I am... I have been sick with the flu' for getting to be around 2 weeks now. :( But today I felt just a little bit better. I don't have a whole lot of energy, but other than that I feel okay now. YAY!

Thanks to Mr Sew-Funky who kept my blog going while I was sick. I hope he will still do the post on the code for putting wallpaper in the background of your blog. He has been super awesome while I've been sick - vacuuming, doing laundry, the whole shebang! Go Mr Sew-Funky, and THANKS!!!

I have been too sick to craft at all. I've watched a lot of tv (make that, slept through a lot of tv!) and done a whole book full of sudoku! Can you tell I was bored?

Thanks for all your well wishes... I should be up and at 'em in the next few days. My trusty bernina sewing machine is coming back tomorrow - so that gives me a whole lot of impetus to do some crafting!!!

10,000 and counting...

As my wonderful husband, Mr Sew-Funky pointed out, I am now past the 10,000 visitor mark. Thanks to all of you who've visited my little space on the net!

I am feeling HEAPS better today, made it to the conference, which is AWESOME. I've learned heaps today, especially from the main speaker - Tony Attwood. I could spend hours listening to the guy, the time just FLEW! If you ever get the opportunity and want to learn more about autism and aspergers this is THE MAN!!!!

I'll be back at it tomorrow. :)
