She was a follower of Jesus, and I know that there's a party going on in heaven right now, but I miss her. Alot. Her death was a shock, unexpected, even though she was ill.
Yesterday morning, I woke up with this old hymn in my head. I didn't know any of the words, except for the title - Blessed Assurance.
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
This is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long;
this is my story, this is my song,
praising my Savior all the day long.
Perfect submission, perfect delight!
Visions of rapture now burst on my sight;
Angels descending bring from above
Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
Perfect submission, all is at rest!
I in my Savior am happy and blest,
Watching and waiting, looking above,
Filled with his goodness, lost in His love.
Thank you for your ongoing prayers and support.
It would have been my mothers 58th birthday today. Not sure how to handle anything. Just living moment to moment.

packing up the craft room.
I know that I will have another one in the new house, but... it's still sad to see most of it packed away! You can see a peek of my sewing machine that's still out, but that too will be packed away. :(
I am going to need to do something crafty over the next month, just for sanity, and I'm thinking of knitting some socks. :)
We still haven't found a house to move into, which is stressful. The house we wanted last week fell through at the last minute and so we are back to square one on the search. I do have some news though, and that is we are looking to move to Pukekohe! YAY! It will be so good to be living close to some good schools that the girls will be able to walk to! :) We will be looking at a couple more houses there tomorrow, so wish us luck.

Lot's has been going on around here, but the gist of it all, is that we are shifting house, getting a new car, and possibly the girls will be starting new schools. Also, my mother, who just came back from Pakistan has been in a perilous health condition in hospital. Aaaargh!
And this is why the blog has been so quiet. Life totally got away from me, and still will for at least another month. We still have to find a new house to live in, and I totally want to move somewhere nice. :) Ideally, it would be at least 4 bedrooms (think space for a craftroom!) and would have a yard for the girls to run around in.
I appreciate any prayers that you may make on behalf of me and my family at the moment - it's totally what is keeping my head glued together!
Missing you all heaps!
